An exciting 10 week opportunity to work within a company which provides innovative solutions for reducing medical errors.

The company was founded in 2004 by a team of nurse educators in Wales. The mission of this company is to improve patient safety by reducing medication error through the development of innovative educational software solutions.

This 10 week project will require the successful candidate to redesign and develop the company’s website, to take advantage of new technologies and to support its ongoing advertising, sales and customer relationship management activities.

The company is prepared to offer this placement on a part time basis on a minimum of 15 hrs per week to a 2nd or final year student should they meet the other criteria. 

  • At the end of the 10 week placement, the candidate will be expected to have:

    • Redesigned the website to an agreed specification that meets the business requirements
    • Designed and developed associated digital marketing materials

The successful candidate should have good working knowledge of the following development languages/tools:

  • HTML, CSS, PHP. my SQL (Essential)
  • Flash and Action Script (Desirable)

The ideal candidate will also:

  • Be a creative and enthusiastic individual
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team
