Smarta Technology design and install security and automation products for the domestic and commercial markets.

This is an opportunity for a graduate to join Smarta Technology on a 10 week placement. The successful candidate will develop and enhance the company website to feature flash, an improved look and feel and more effective navigation and new functionality.

 

The successful candidate will also work to improve the website’s search engine optimisation, develop effective online Google Adwords pay-per-click and Google Adsense marketing campaigns with high return on investment, use Google website optimizer to improve efficiency of pay-per-click campaigns, explore other online marketing media such as Yahoo and Bing and trial marketing campaigns and identify, approach and establish back links with appropriate related websites.

  • Improve the quality, look and feel, navigation and functionality of the website.
    Raise awareness of the company through generating more unique visitors and buyers to the website
    Generate increased revenue from pay-per-click and other online selling campaigns.
    Increase Google page ranking through targeting related websites to create back links with
    Develop appropriate landing pages for pay-per-click campaigns.
    Search engine optimized website

To apply for this vacancy you must have a an IT or marketing related degree and the following skills:

  • Website development and graphics skills
  • SEO expertise
  • SEM expertise
  • Knowledge of dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of Microsoft expression or other scritping software
  • code writing, PHP, aspx, CSS, HTML
